Our newly developed edible ink uses the inkjet printing technology widely and commonly used in desktop publishing.  The versatility of these products is matched only by the speed and quality output of printing.  Using a paper made of rice, the design of your own choice is created on your personal computer and then directly printed on to the rice paper.  The printed rice paper now contains the edible inks and is easily laid on top of a cake.  No labor and messy application of icing is involved, since the decoration has been imaged on to the rice paper. 

The same process can be used to produce candy designed wrappers, a roll paper for any pie or quiche or a designed protective cover for any condiments as well as tortes and hundreds of other applications available where an extra cosmetic or personality is needed to add to a dessert product.
